2022 - 2023
In the autumn seasons of 2022 and 2023, I had the privilege of collaborating with the Northern Colorado Construction Sector Partnership and AIMS Community College. Together, we crafted engaging activity sheets, eye-catching flyers, handy bookmarks, and various other materials for their prestigious construction convention. This event was meticulously tailored to capture the attention of high school juniors and seniors intrigued by the prospects of a career in construction. It provided them with invaluable insights into the myriad benefits, opportunities, and diverse positions awaiting them in this dynamic field.

Public Job Fair
At the start of the project, I designed a flier tailored towards those looking for a job in the construction field. This flier includes a list of job and informational booths, a map of the venue entrance and parking area, and information about the event itself.

Bookmark
My next item on the list was refurbishing a bookmark. This bookmark was used as a handout to students with a career pathway on the back; displaying the different routes a student could take to earn their certification or degree in Construction.

Activity Sheet
After I had finished the bookmark, I worked on an activity sheet for the students to fill out. This was meant to encourage them to explore all the different booths both indoor and outdoor. If the students explored all of them and got the required stamps, they could then be entered into a raffle for one of five $100 gift cards.

Sponsorship Pamphlet
Once Construction Con was finished, I was contacted by the NOCO Manufacturing Partnership to update their sponsorship pamphlet. This pamphlet would be going out to future sponsors in the hopes of recruiting them for Construction Con and other construction-based events in the future.
